So, how did we do it? Or more importantly, why did we believe we could do it. You see, that is the real question. With all of the potential on the Internet, there is no doubt in my mind that you an do this. But you need to “break out” of the box.

Yes, you need tools. And yes, you need instruction. but most importantly, you need to see how someone else did it so you can have the confidence to do it yourself.I have said it many times…I am not the sharpest tool in the shed. But I don’t have to be. I only need passion for a topic and a confidence that I will win more times than I will lose.

Actually, online business is very much like baseball in that way. We pay someone a gazillion dollars a year to NOT reach first base 2 out of 3 times! Think about that. Only the greatest hitters in history have a batting average over 300 – which means they failed 2 times for every 1 time they succeeded.

Thankfully, starting a business on the Internet is WAY easier than hitting a curve ball!

What is a continuity product?
A continuity product is any product that people pay for on a monthly basis. Your cell phone service is a continuity product because you pay every month and when you stop paying, the service or access stops.

It is the same with an information product. Once people buy your information product, you should have a continuity product in place where they will continue to pay you every month for more information on that topic. This can be in the form of a membership site, an audio CD of the month club, a coaching club, a forum – anything where people are willing to pay to get more information on a topic on a regular basis.

What is the difference between a continuity program and a membership site?
A membership site is one type of continuity product. They are very easy to set up and there is nothing better than having 50 people paying you $10 a month to have access to your website!

Can I still make money online even if I have no list at all?
Yes, but a huge part of 8WeeksToProfits is building you an email list as soon as possible. At the end of 8WeeksToProfits, you should have a nice size email list.

How much should I budget for getting the accessories required for this course apart from the cost of this course?

What is an autoresponder?
An autoresponder is a service or software that creates a form to allow people to give you their name, email and whatever other information you request – like what they would like to learn in your next information product! It will also remember when your subscriber signed up and what message he is supposed to be on.

So, an autoresponder is perfect for sending sequential emails – for example: part 1 of a mini-course, then part 2 of the mini-course three days later, then part 3 of the mini-course, three days after that, and so on and so on. You can also send an email to everyone at once to announce a teleseminar or the launch date of your new information product. Very powerful!

Do you have a guarantee?

I just took a course for internet sales and was sold a merchants account for $498, a toll free phone number for $40, website hosting for $30 per month, and total monthly expenses of about $100. Are you saying that we do not need any of the above?
I hate to break it to you, but all you need to make a great monthly income from information products is $50 per year hosting, $15 per year domain name and a $30 per month autoresponder service. That’s about $35 per month. The rest can be had for free.

How do I get my husband’s permission to purchase the course?

I don’t create an information product until I have two things in place:
1. A list of hungry customers that have given me their first name and email
2. I know EXACTLY what they want in the future information product

So, I put up an email capture page with an offer of a free mini-course. They sign up for the free mini-course and give me their first name, email and biggest question about the topic. Now I know EXACTLY hwat they want and I have their name and email to tell them when it is ready (and to develop a relationship). How hard is it to sell someone information when it is EXACTLY what they want (because they already told you)?

Is your course starting at a specific day and time?
